About

Who We Are

  • 2003: Brothers Industrial Services Ltd was founded in Red Deer, Alberta, by two brothers with a shared vision to establish a business. They purchased a small trailer and a dry ice blaster, using their personal trucks to haul equipment while juggling full-time jobs—one as a gas plant operator and the other as an operator at a petrochemical facility.
  • 2004: Achieved COR certification, which has been maintained since.
  • 2006: Relocated to Ponoka, Alberta, where our main service center and office continue to operate.
  • 2007: Began providing services to the Oilsands north and south of Fort McMurray, which have been integral to our success.
  • 2010: Established our first dry ice production facility in Ponoka with a daily capacity of approximately 13 tonnes/day (28,600 lbs).
  • 2017: Opened a service center in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, enhancing our ability to reach customers from Grande Prairie, Alberta, to northern British Columbia.
  • 2018: Expanded service offerings to include Canada-wide silo cleaning.
  • 2021: Constructed a new shop at our Ponoka location.
  • 2025: Opened our largest service center in Fort McMurray, featuring a state-of-the-art dry ice production facility, increasing our total production capacity to approximately 30 tonnes/day (66,000 lbs). At this time, we began offering dry ice sales to the public.

Through determination and hard work for over two decades, Brothers Industrial Services has transformed its humble beginnings into an industry-leading company, carving out a unique niche and thriving as a small business in a sea of larger players.
