All employees and subcontractors are expected to be familiar with, and work within the Company's Health and Safety Program, the Provincial Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, as well as regulations and guidelines pertaining to their work.

Brothers Industrial Services believes that safety is the responsibility of every individual involved in a project. For this reason, we provide proper training to all employees. This way, our clients can be assured that there are well-trained individuals on site at all times.

Brothers Industrial employee training includes: H2S Alive, First Aid, OSSA Regional Orientation, OSSA Confined Space, OSSA Fall Protection, PST, Detection and Control of Flammable Substances and Gas Detection Training specific to our equipment. In-house training includes WHMIS and TDG, as well as general and site-specific training. Our drivers are trained in hours of service, cargo securement and fatigue management. All supervisors are required to complete the Alberta Construction Safety Association's Leadership for Safety Excellence course.

Brothers Industrial Services is also registered in the government sponsored Partners in Injury Reduction Program. This program grants rebate and discounts for effective safety programs. These initiatives are measured through reducing injury accident costs as compared to industry standards and are monitored through WCB rates.
